The Role

As a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will work in a hands-on, product-oriented role in the Insights Team at All Ears. As part of the team, you will be responsible for turning large amounts of audio and textual data into actionable insights to suit our customers’ needs. You will be responsible for building, and productizing ML-based features in our platform, which is loved and used by customers around the world.

Responsibilities

As a Senior AI/ML Engineer at All Ears, you will:

• Explore and ideate approaches to produce insights from text and audio.

• Develop, deploy, and maintain ML-based features for text analysis.

• Work in a cross-functional team consisting of back-end and front-end developers, UX specialists, and product managers.

• Interact with customers, and internal stakeholders in order to enhance our B2B SaaS product.

• Contribute to high code quality through code reviews, testing, and clear documentation according to best practices.

Who You Are

We believe that you are 5+ years into your career of working with Machine Learning (ML) for building B2B or B2C SaaS-based products, using ML and Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques.

We’re looking for a person who has the perfect mix of practical Software Engineering skills, and experience of operating ML in production. In particular, we’re looking for a candidate with the following experience:

• Strong background in ML and NLP.

• Well-versed in modern ML tooling such as Transformers, vector databases, etc.

• Practical knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) in production, both as services via API, and self-hosted deployments.

• Knowledge of Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) such as:

  • Training and deploying ML models in production, including fine-tuning LLMs.

  • Operationalizing and automating monitoring, drift detection, and retraining of models.

  • Evaluating ML models in a practical setting.

• Application of traditional Machine Learning techniques for NLP such as text classification, entity and event detection, and topic modeling.

• A strong Software Engineering background, in particular experienced in building products in a B2B setting.

• Excellent communication skills in oral and written English and Swedish.

• Confident knowledge of our stack, e.g., python, Transformers, FastAPI/Django, microservices and related tools
